AP Preparation

AP Preparation

As the AP tests have begun, many students in particular have started to feel uneasy about their tests. Some have taken the stress head on by completing rituals to stay calm. Others have felt numerous amounts of pressure from their teachers, peers, and from themselves so that they might succeed. While talking to Brielle Bayens ‘19, we learned that she tries to prepare for the AP test while also staying balanced, “As the deadline for the national exam draws closer, I feel myself stressing and over thinking more because I recognize how badly I want to pass and show myself that I can do whatever I set my mind to. I hope that my hardwork will pay off, but in order to meet the demands of school and the pressure I am under, I always try to get a good night of sleep, find more time for myself, and take short breaks in between my studying. I go to Starbucks with my friends to study and keep myself on task.” Many students at our school prepare in the same way so that they may help themselves stay balanced through this stressful process.
