The Boys Varsity basketball team plays Rocky Mountain high school tonight at home. The game is the first of six playoff rounds: “Round 1”, “Round 2”, “Sweet 16”, “Great 8”, “Final 4” and “Championship”.

Varsity basketball has a win-loss record of 13-10, while Rocky Mountain stands at 12-11. The teams are ranked 26 and 34 in Colorado for 5A teams, respectively.

Tickets are six dollars for students, and eight for adults at the door. As this is a CHSAA sponsored event, activity passes will not be accepted. The game themed is WISH OUT, according to Student Council. They are instructing students to wear their 2020 Wish Shirt.

The game will begin at 7 p.m., following the Unified Basketball game in the gym at 5:30 p.m. In anticipation of a large turnout, CHSAA will begin selling tickets at 6:15, according to athletic director Tom Brieske.

If the team wins, they will continue to the second round played by the 32 other remaining teams. In this event, according to MaxPreps, the team would play Valor High School.
