Students clap and holler. Hands raise. The gym sways with energy as students cheer for a guest Sept. 7. Motivational speaker Kevin Atlas spoke to students who attended the 9:13 a.m. assembly. Atlas’s speech was themed “Believe in You” and encouraged students to take action to make their own lives better.

Atlas acts out his words by putting his arms up to emphasize his point about why students should work to enjoy their lives and elicits cheers from the audience. “It was really inspiring to envision yourself in him and see, like, think about what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it,” Peyton Howey ‘23 said.
