It’s 2:49 p.m., the school day is almost over. Teachers released students, primarily seniors, early to crowd around the grand staircase. As the clock ticks closer to 2:50 p.m., students begin to count down.
Three, two, one. The seniors cheer as they throw thousands of papers into the air, leaving high school behind them and marking the beginning of the next chapters of their lives.
Finals for all seniors took place from May 7 until May 9, and final grades for seniors were due May 9. Graduation takes place May 23 at 6 p.m. in the University of Denver’s Ritchie Center.

Clubs like the National Honor Society (NHS) offer students the opportunity to earn service hours by cleaning up the trash in the parking lots. “[The trash] makes us look very unhygienic and unmotivated to be a proper school,” Emberlyse Vidal ‘28 said. “It makes us look like we just don't care about our students' environments.”](https://rockmediaonline.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/20260220_1355020-2-1200x904.jpg)
