The Jaguars won against the Warriors after a loss against them last year.
September 26, 2022
One broken down bus. Two injured players. Three pickled popsicles. Four touchdowns. Before the game against the Arapahoe High School Warriors on Sept. 23, the bus carrying the entire varsity football team broke down on Monarch Boulevard as they were driving to Littleton Public School Stadium. The breakdown caused them to arrive almost 30 minutes late and moved the game from 7:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in order for them to warm up and prepare for the game. The Jags won against the Warriors on their homecoming game and redeemed themselves after their loss against them last year. The Jags scored one touchdown each quarter of the game, with a total of 210 rushing yards and 78 passing yards in total from the game. The Jags beat the Warriors 28-17 W. This marked the first time in school history that the football team has ever had a winning streak of 5-0.
The Jags take on the Highlands Ranch High School Falcons at Echo Park Stadium 7:00 p.m. Sept. 29 for Rock Canyon’s Homecoming game.
