Eid-al-Fitr is a holiday celebrated April 21 in order to mark the end of the Holy Month, or Ramadan. Ramadan is observed by fasting, praying and reflecting from March 22 to April 20, and Eid-al-Fitr is celebrated at the end of the Holy Month with a feast.

“I really enjoy the month of Ramadan because it’s a time of reflection and making sure that you’re doing the right thing and giving back to the community,” Sanaa Sow ’25 said. “It’s also a fun experience with your family.”
