Ella Heimer ‘25 draws the lead singer of the band Gorillaz, 2-D, in her free time. Heimer found inspiration for her work from listening to music.

Currently, Heimer is writing a column on the inspiration behind the creation of art.

“There are so many different reasons behind making art and I want to uncover the deeper meaning behind it,” Heimer said. “When you make art, you put a piece of yourself out there and I’m interested in learning about what that is.”

Students interested in submitting artwork to be featured in an article can email [email protected].
