On Nov. 7, voters came to the polls to vote on a variety of different issues.
Included on the ballot this year were the 5A Mill Levy Override and the 5B Bond Measure. Both of these would provide resources to Douglas County School District in one way or another, whether that be increasing teacher pay, building new schools or updating the old ones.
Ultimately, the community voted to pass 5A, but did not pass 5B.
