According to Keep America Beautiful, the majority of the trash found on both roads and waterways consists of fast food wrappers and packaging, receipts and plastic beverage bottles. Improv Middle School Night: a night that happens only once or twice every year, where middle school students come over to the high school to play improv with the big kids.
This year’s Improv Night took place Jan. 17, hosted by Improv Club–also known as Troupe 7206–in the school auditorium.
Entry tickets were $5 per audience member. The proceeds went towards funding the school’s theater department.
For the actual showcase, participants warmed up, then played games consisting of Party Quirks, Box of Death, Last Line and New Choice.
“It’s fun to improv with friends and it increases my acting skills, being able to think on my feet, and also how to develop a scene without it becoming boring,” Alina Sabalevskya ‘27 said.

Middle school students and Improv Club members get sorted into their groups for the showcase Jan. 17. Each group played a different game and had its own high school student leaders. “Improv is a great way to get more involved in theater, and it’s a super fun club to do with friends. I really recommend it for people who need a good laugh or more inside jokes," Paisley Wilson ‘27 said.
