![Black & Gold Yearbook Editor-in-Chief Chloe Farson ‘25 works on a winter trends and events page for the yearbook during period four in room 4113 March 25. The deadline for the final version of the yearbook is this Friday, March 29. “Although I’m quite nervous and stressed about [the deadline], I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product more than anything,” Farson said. “I’ve found our book to be extremely unique from ones in past years, and it’s been so beautiful to work on. Girls tennis tryouts took place on February 26th and 27th.
“Tennis tryouts are really stressful because you have to wait to figure out if you are doing enough to make the team, but also exciting to be doing your best while having fun.” Emily Keely ’20 said.
Over the past week, these girls have been preparing during pre-season to make sure they are ready for tryouts.
“I’m so excited to see what the season has in store for me, I’ve been working really hard on my swing so hopefully it’s seen that I’ve improved.” Emma Goble ’20 said.
Everyone is waiting to what teams they make and see if their hard work has paid off.
“I’ve had a lot of fun getting ready for this upcoming season with some of my best friends!” McKenna Dicarlo ’20 said.
These girls find out what team they make on February 28th.
“Pre-season prepared me a lot for tryouts this week so hopefully I improved in time for tryouts,”Lexi Moote ’20 said, “Last season was so fun and I hope this season turns out the same.”
