Lab Time
March 7, 2018
This week in biology, sophomores are doing a lab focusing on evolution and survival of the fittest.
“I enjoy this lab because it helps me understand how natural selection and survival of the fittest works,” Grace Haas ’20 said. They are using tooth picks of different colors and randomly picking them out and eliminating them based on their color.
“This lab is fun but it also makes you think,” Lindsay Swett ’20 said.
While learning about natural selection, the students thought this to be a fun lab, and learning experience.
“I like having the lesson right in front of me, learning and working with your table group while doing it,” Amanda Banks ’20 said.
The basic lab has taught the students more and more.
“I like doing labs so I can have my hands on and discover more everyday,” Haas said.
