![On Oct. 30, 24 Eco Club members took a tour of the school’s solar panels on the roof. It’s that time of the year again. Time to make a Christmas wish list of all the presents you want under the sparkling Christmas tree. Some people like to write their lists on paper, some write them on their notes app, while others make a slideshow that explains what they want – which is the ultimate move, and I am going to prove why.
Making a Christmas wish list on a slideshow is better than making a list on paper because a slideshow gives your family members a better understanding of the items you want. You can put the price, the place to get it, the size and a picture of the item so they know what color and which one to get. To make a slideshow Christmas wish list, you can use Google Slides and Canva.
“I’m all for it, I think making a slideshow is much more productive than just the list,” Rigel Dodge ‘27 said. “You can have photos and it seems more formal than just a list.”
Lists have more information than just a plain sheet of paper with wants. This makes making the list a lot more fun for the list creator and also helps people better understand what you want.
“I think it’s a really good way to show your parents, like better details of like what you want,” Avery Weiner ‘27 said. “You can also add the links so it’s more like easier and it’s more fun to make.”
