Rosie’s Diner Evaluation
January 26, 2019
“You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain, too much loves makes a man go insane,” echoed in the restaurant. The smell of greasy burgers and fries filled the air, along with the sweet smell of the twenty different flavors of milk shakes. I have always been a person who loves to find diners that are a throwback to how times use to be. As our generation has been exposed to the movies like “Grease” and countless stories from our grandparents, I wanted to experience a blast from the past. My criteria going into this was, of course, a jukebox playing fifties and sixties music for it to feel authentic. A good juicy burger is always a must. Lastly and most importantly a good milkshake. This isn’t any ole milk shake either, it is required to come in a chilled glass with the left overs on the side. Rosie’s diner had a very strict expectation list to achieve.
After tasting the most delicious milk shakes and burgers Rosie’s diner blew me out of the water and I would go back in a heart beat. I loved the fun atmosphere and the nice waiters. I got to go back to the past which was very cool.

According to Keep America Beautiful, the majority of the trash found on both roads and waterways consists of fast food wrappers and packaging, receipts and plastic beverage bottles. Clubs like the National Honor Society (NHS) offer students the opportunity to earn service hours by cleaning up the trash in the parking lots. “[The trash] makes us look very unhygienic and unmotivated to be a proper school,” Emberlyse Vidal ‘28 said. “It makes us look like we just don't care about our students' environments.”](https://rockmediaonline.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/20260220_1355020-2-1200x904.jpg)
