School spirit illuminated Echo Park during the Homecoming football game as footballs soared through the air, students were crowned royalty, and the manpoms flipped out.

Kade+Ramsey+20+and+Sean+Hicks+20+burst+through+the+homecoming+banner+and+sprint+on+to+the+field+at+Echo+Park+for+the+Homecoming+Game+Sept+19.+This+game+against+Arapahoe+High+School+ended+with+a+score+of+24-12.+%E2%80%9CWere+losing+the+game+so+far%2C+but+our+school+spirit+is+strong%2C%E2%80%9D+Shwetha+Suresh+%E2%80%9822+said.

Kade Ramsey ’20 and Sean Hicks ’20 burst through the homecoming banner and sprint on to the field at Echo Park for the Homecoming Game Sept 19. This game against Arapahoe High School ended with a score of 24-12. “We’re losing the game so far, but our school spirit is strong,” Shwetha Suresh ‘22 said.

During the cheer halftime routine, flyer Reagan O’Riley ’21 gets thrown into the air over Echo Park Sept. 19. The cheer team danced to classic rock music that coincided with the “Rock ‘n’ Roll” homecoming theme. “The team was really in sync and practiced a lot for this game,” Anna Stevens ‘22 said.
