According to Keep America Beautiful, the majority of the trash found on both roads and waterways consists of fast food wrappers and packaging, receipts and plastic beverage bottles. Boys Varsity Team Wins First Game of The Season

On Thursday, Aug. 25, Rock Canyon supporters lined up at Shea Stadium for the first Boys Varsity soccer game vs Cherokee Trail. The game kicked off at 4:20pm.Within the first 15 minutes, Rock Canyon had scored off an own goal by a Cherokee Trail defender.
The slick turf made the ball skip right past the keeper. Fouls were forged many times between teams and four yellow cards were shown; two for each team. Towards the end of the game when Rock Canyon seemed to be in control Cherokee Trail had a rifle of a shot rattle the post.
It certainly gave a scare to the fans. Defense held up very nicely throughout the game blocking many attempts on goal. Rock Canyon held off the attacks and pulled away a win and great start to the season. The final score was 1-0.
