According to Keep America Beautiful, the majority of the trash found on both roads and waterways consists of fast food wrappers and packaging, receipts and plastic beverage bottles. Once a year, the hallways transform as Student Council decorates the school for Wish Week. Blue balloons line the main staircase as each hallway gets filled with streamers, posters and decorations in support of each Wish Kid. Take a look at a recap of the decorations to remember this year’s celebrations.

The Wish Week sign is displayed in the upper main hallway April 4. It was decorated with Fidel's favorite basketball team, the Charlotte Hornets, and an orange basketball. "Wish Week is important because it brings together the entire Rock Canyon community and we get to welcome a whole new family to our community," Student Body President Myles Rubin '23 said.
