The Wish Week sign is displayed in the upper main hallway April 4. It was decorated with Fidels favorite basketball team, the Charlotte Hornets, and an orange basketball. Wish Week is important because it brings together the entire Rock Canyon community and we get to welcome a whole new family to our community, Student Body President Myles Rubin 23 said.

Chloe Nowak 22 flaunts her tacky wear in from of the RC Wish Week stand Feb. 25. Nowak wore a fedora, a turtle neck with a lime green Hawaiian shirt over it, a fanny pack, khaki shorts with a lime green belt, leggings, and socks with lime green sandals. I just really wanted to make people cringe and if supporting our wish kid by wearing cheesy clothing that dont match is gonna help, then Ill wear whatever horrendous clothing, Nowak said.

Educational Assistants Kathy Gallo and Kandi Hedges pose in their 2013 Wish Week shirts outside of the 3000s Feb. 19. This is Gallos first year at Rock Canyon and Hedges seventeenth year. The change that I see in our students when we get to Wish Week and everybody comes together for a cause thats bigger than we are individually is really heartwarming and uplifting and I really want that for our freshmen every year, Hedges said.

Lilliya Larson 21 smiles in her Dare to Share Your Hair t-shirt from Wish Week 2018. Larson donated 12 inches last year. I am going to do it again this year. I liked it a lot because even if your hair is a little too short for a few weeks, I feel like youve still changed a life, and thats more important than anything on how you look because your hair will grow back, but they wont ever get hair, Larson said.
