Unified Kickball’s next game will occur at the Under the Lights Tournament at Echo Park at 5 p.m. Sept. 7.
The team’s season, which consists of six games and a tournament, began with a game against Mountain Vista High School Aug. 22.
“I think everyone should definitely come out to the unified games, whether it’s kickball, basketball or a different sport,” Tayte Northrup ‘25 said. “The support makes the players feel great about themselves and honestly they are just very happy their peers came to cheer them on. I have been to many Unified games these last few years. My favorite part is how supporting and helping them makes me feel.”

According to Keep America Beautiful, the majority of the trash found on both roads and waterways consists of fast food wrappers and packaging, receipts and plastic beverage bottles. Clubs like the National Honor Society (NHS) offer students the opportunity to earn service hours by cleaning up the trash in the parking lots. “[The trash] makes us look very unhygienic and unmotivated to be a proper school,” Emberlyse Vidal ‘28 said. “It makes us look like we just don't care about our students' environments.”](https://rockmediaonline.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/20260220_1355020-2-1200x904.jpg)
