As phone flashlights wave and bodies bounce up and down, Jags watch performances, cheer and celebrate the week’s end at the annual Homecoming Assembly Sept. 21.
Student Council members organized the assembly to summarize a week filled with spirit days, team competitions, and more events to come as the weekend closed in.

Sophie Pollard ‘25 cheers during the opening of the Homecoming Assembly in the gym Sept. 21. The theme for Homecoming was “Route RC 23,” with shirts sold for $10 by Student Council. “I liked the [Homecoming shirts] because of the soft material and the design [looked] good, so I purchased one,” Pollard said.

According to Keep America Beautiful, the majority of the trash found on both roads and waterways consists of fast food wrappers and packaging, receipts and plastic beverage bottles.
