The Week in Photos: March 30-April 5

Snapshots of events from the week.
During Kindness Week, MJ Mejia ‘25 completes her planning work for Peer Counseling during period seven April 2. Kindness Week, which began on April 1 and continues through April 5, is run by student peer counselors. The week encompasses spreading kindness to one another through promoting spirit days, selling kindness grams, organizing a campus clean up, passing out journals and more. “Our goal with Kindness Week is to create a better environment in our school and just spread kindness to our community,” Mejia said. “We just want to make sure that everyone feels appreciated and just find a way to spread kindness around here.” (media by Dee Lee)
During Matt Sassali and Marry Burnham’s fifth period AP Seminar, Kristi Vetter ‘25 works on her slides for her Individual Muti-Media Research Presentation April 2. Students worked on multiple components for their AP assessment for the past 10 weeks. They will be performing their presentations for the College Board next week on Tuesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 11. “I am very nervous to present my presentation but I feel confident in my skills and my argument. We have been working on this project for such a long time so it will be a big relief once it is finished and all turned it into the College Board,” Vetter said. (media by Elly Brooks)
The ensemble cast clings to Kyle Walsh ‘25 at the end of the spring musical dress rehearsal April 2. Walsh, who played Conrad Birdie in “Bye Bye Birdie,” was attacked by lovestruck fans when they find him on a date. “It’s extremely sad to think that this is Mrs. Baker’s last show,” ensemble member Harper Bezemek-Aguliar ‘26 said. “But, it’s all the more reason we’ve all wanted to give her the best one yet. She has produced so many incredible shows over the years and while it’s sad, it’s amazing just how much of an impact Mrs. Baker has made on this school.” (media by River Brown)
