Marching Band freezes in place in their final pose, finishing their music and ending their show Sept. 24. They had to wait until 4 p.m. to get their results. They placed 16th in the event. The show music this year is incredible, and putting movement to it is amazing, Drum major and All Bands President Zoë Danilchick ‘23 said.

Center, Long Snapper Aaron Moskoff ‘23 practices setting up the ball for a snap to the quarterback Sept. 2. The defensive team stood in line to set up the snap in order to make sure they were aligned and ready for the game. “Personally, I’m very superstitious when it comes to preparing for the game. Every time I warmup, I’ll do three sets of a drill, or do a certain stretch three times. Basically, I like to warm up in sets of threes. It keeps everything consistent,” Moskoff said.

Samantha Jacot ‘23 lays out the collection of notes and gifts she plans to give to Lily Fodness ‘23 to ask her to Homecoming. Jacot made a note and gift for each class period during an all day and had friends give them to Fodness throughout the day. “My favorite [gift] was probably third period. I got a Monster, that was really nice and I really needed the caffeine,” Fodness said.

Sameer Arora ‘23 works on a computer in Chris Cassic’s classroom during access Sept. 22. Cassic teaches AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, and engineering, which can qualify students for Computer Science Honor Society. “Students will be able to apply if they [are taking] a computer science class right now,” Arora said. “Well be advertising our honor society within the AP computer science classes.”

Student Council member Isabella Robison ‘26 sells Homecoming t-shirts to students during B lunch Sept. 27. Members of Student Council took turns selling the t-shirts Monday through Thursday during Homecoming week during both lunches and Access. The shirts sold for $10 each. “I thought it was a good experience that I learned even though the credit card reader was being a little weird,” Robison said. “I really liked the opportunities we get to do for the school and for everyone to see.”
