Varsity boys basketball lost to ThunderRidge in overtime with a score of 71-78 at ThunderRidge, Friday, Feb. 16.

Grizzlies were ahead during the first half of the game, but Jaguars tied the game in the third quarter.

“It was so stressful,” Reese Titensor ‘21 said, “Everyone around me was freaking out. It was so crazy to get so emotionally involved in a random game.”

The teams were neck and neck during the last half of the game. Jaguars tied the score with only seconds left, pushing the game to overtime. Rock Canyon eventually lost to ThunderRidge by seven points.

“They gave it their all,” Abby Higgins ‘19 said, “They played really good throughout the season, and we still have the playoffs so we can come back and win it.”
