The clock strikes 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23, students and staff members flood the gym to celebrate the new school year with the Back to School assembly. The assembly is led by Student Body President Blanka Sniezyk ‘25, Student Body Vice President Lizzie Watabe ‘25 and the Master of Ceremonies (MC) Evan Watkins ‘25.
During the assembly, students participated in the “Do it”, “Whose House”, “ We’re Marching” and the “RCHS” chants.
Additionally, this year, science faculty members shot t-shirts into the stands for students to catch.
Which means back to school has begun.

At the assembly there were four different chants, ‘Do it’, ‘We’re Marching’, JT’s chant and the ‘RCHS’ chant. “The Back to School assembly is always so fun and Holloway’s cheer always gets the crowd pumped up because he is so connected with the students and makes it super fun. I really like his chant and the “Do it” chant the best,” Kottle said.
