Security Guard, J.T. Adams, will launch a new online shop called “Stay Hydrated Shop”  a few weeks before Christmas. The website sells sweatshirts, hats and many other products that remind people of all ages to drink water and stay hydrated. There will be different quotes and slogans about H2O on the products.

Adams found inspiration for the idea from where he’s lived and his family.

“Here in Colorado, it’s very important to stay hydrated because it’s very dry here,” Adams said. “With me being from Florida, you have to drink water or you will have a heat stroke.”

Adams is also one of the sponsors of his niece, a basketball player that averages around 43-points a game.

“I was preaching to her because she cramped up against her high school, she was playing so hard,” Adams said. “This is the reason it’s important to stay hydrated.”

Adams has a few goals for his new company.

“I’m trying to spread it all over, all sports, people in general,” Adams said. One way to accomplish this goal is through his company’s partnership with Mrs. Hartline. For every shirt purchased, proceeds go to the Wish Week foundation. Adams also ensured that his products are accessible by making the highest price on the website $30.

“We’re going to sell water bottles, yoga pants, sweatpants, sweatshirts, backpacks, and we have a few different ideas,” Adams said.
