Movies are a way for us to travel to a different world for a couple hours. Movies have the capability to keep you intrigued even after you have seen the movie. So what’s better than to hear someone else’s favorite movies?

For each movie, there will be a synopsis about why I have a movie in said place, and also an overall score out of 10.

5 .  Dunkirk – Directed by Christopher Nolan, Rated PG-13

This one leaves a pretty big impact on you. The way that the movie was directed makes you think so much more. The movie does not have much talking, so every other sound seems amplified. The two highlights of this movie are the cinematography and the soundtrack

Overall Score: 8.5/10

4 .  Jurassic Park – Directed by Steven Spielberg, Rated PG-13

Out of all of the Jurassic Park movies, the original one is definitely the best out of all of them. The dinosaur thriller movie really does it’s job, it’s about dinosaurs, and it gives a good thriller movie. Most dinosaur movies cannot live up to this movie. The movie itself has good acting, cinematography, and a good soundtrack.

Overall Score: 8.5/10

3 .  The Dark Knight – Directed by Christopher Nolan, Rated PG-13

This is by far the best batman movie made yet. The reason I love this movie is because of the impact it left on me. The acting in this movie is extraordinary. Heath Ledger’s take on the Joker is extraordinary. It made a reputation for Batman that is unforgettable. This movie leaves such an impact on you that you’ll think about it for years to come

Overall Score: 9/10

2 .  Guardians of the Galaxy – Directed by James Gunn, Rated PG-13

Guardians of the Galaxy has a great soundtrack to back up its action scenes. The acting in this movie makes you feel immersed in the story. You don’t need to enjoy Marvel movies to enjoy this one. Personally, this is also the reason Chris Pratt is my favorite actor. Overall this movie is just a really fun time, and it redefined that superhero genre.

Overall Score: 9/10

1 .  Baby Driver – Directed by Edgar Wright, Rated R

The reason this is my all time favorite movie is because it is so enjoyable to watch. Even after watching it multiple times. All of the actions scenes are captivating and intense. But what makes these scenes extraordinary is the soundtrack, and how it is used. The music lines up with the scene so well, you can’t help but smile. Additionally, there are so many tiny details that you may not notice the first time. For example, in one of the first scenes of the movie. The main character is walking through Atlanta, listening to music. But on the walls in the background, the lyrics are creatively painted on. All these reasons are why it’s my favorite movie.

Overall Score: 10/10
