JV girls Volleyball won their first game of the year Aug. 27 against Broomfield.

Leaping into the air, hitting the ball over the net, JV girls Outside Hitter Taylor Cary ‘22 passes the ball to the other team attempting to keep the ball in play. This was the teams first game of the season. Aug. 27. “The best part about playing my position is knowing that I play a big role on the court,” Cary said.

Hustling to block a hit, JV girls Middle Front player Sydney Naibauer ‘21 saves a point by passing to a team member. The team won both games 25-13 and 25-19. “I think we have a lot of potential as a team this season, and if we keep working hard, it will go really well,” Naibauer said.

Girls JV Poms perform at the end of the Girls JV volleyball game Aug. 27. The poms team had been practicing this choreography well into the summer. “We spent multiple months cleaning and preparing this dance for the back to school dance but only had a few weeks to adjust it for the game,” Tasha Makooi ‘22 said.
