Jan. 14 Rock Canyon’s Student Council is hosting a tailgate party in the commons at 5:30-6:30 pm. There will be free pizza and the theme for the party and student section is “preppy.”

“I enjoy the tailgates because it’s a way to get all the students together and pumped up for the game to follow,” Camryn Kramer ’22, Student Council member said.

The tailgate party takes place before the boys basketball game at 7:00 pm against Valor Christian High School to encourage people to come to games and cheer.

“One of STUCO’s biggest goals is to help promote school participation and support for all activities. We feel like a tailgate is a great way to get people to come support the basketball team against one of our biggest rivals in Valor and to help build up the Canyon Crazies student section,” Jeffrey Mattson ‘22, Student Council member said.
