AP Psychology teacher Kathryn Lemeshewsky decorates her classroom door for a door decorating contest in the 5000s pod Dec. 8. Lemeshewsky organized the contest as an opportunity for teachers to take part in something fun and creative before break. Teachers had to do 51% of the work themselves, with their doors theme connecting to the holidays or the subjects they teach. Quite honestly, the social studies pod has gotten a little lame, and Im done with that. Im ready to boost the spirit in the 5000s pod and Im trying to do things to get us all to contribute more, because I like the people in our department, Lemeshewsky said.

The crowd cheered We wont wear the, throughout the time protest. Were in a bubble, Belveal said. People dont get involved like this. These are our rights as American citizens. I understand if you want to wear a mask - thats your choice. Im double vaccinated. It should be my decision if I should or should not wear a mask and everyone else here. All of the chairs set out had to be sprayed and wiped down after use. “Sanitation is more important this year than any other, as without it we wouldn’t even get a season. To do this, we thoroughly wipe down the mats before every practice and during competitions at home we are sure to clean the chairs as well. This all ensures that we stay healthy and get the longest season possible,” Gerlitz said.
