A Touch of Earth
To celebrate Earth Day, staffer Lily Hansen looked to the world around her and took in the nature her neighborhood had to offer.
Taking a walk through my neighborhood puts me in a very peaceful state-of-mind because not only am I surrounded by friends and family, I’m engulfed in nature and its inhabitants. In the spring season, flowers of all colors, insects and animals roam the area freely. Inspired by Earth Day, I relaxed and sat out in the open just to take in the quintessential beauty of the world.

This beautiful Mule Deer kept looking at me while I followed him and his friends to take photos. It was a cute experience because they didn’t run away as I gradually stepped closer.

These flowers stand out amongst the brown to tell us that spring is truly here. Winter has come to an end and we are now in the blooming season.

Now You See Me… Now You Don’t…

These photos are BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing a gorgeous part of the world when we need it most! Your angles are perfect, processing is on point and your subjects are great! 🙂 in my neighborhood right now I am happy to say there is still connection. We have cut out colorful paper hearts and pasted on our windows for each other to see and there are painted rocks everywhere for people to find with beautiful messages reminding us of the positivity still rampant in this time.
