Hours of practice, nights of games, dropping temperatures, and the motivation to win. For the second time in two years, the varsity football team made it to the playoffs, this time with the best win/loss record in a regular season in years.

The Jaguars started the season with a 6-0 W start after defeating the Highlands Ranch Falcons in week six. A defeat by the Mountain Vista Eagles in week seven, and a defeat from the Valor Eagles in week eight, made it a back-to-back loss for the Jaguars.

In week nine, the Jags secured a blowout against the Castle View Sabercats with a score of 28-3 W. The last game of the regular season was against the ThunderRidge Grizzlies, with a close game, losing in the final quarter with a score of 13-10 L: the lowest score between two teams during the Jaguars season.

Ending their regular season, the team entered the playoffs as the 11 seat. The Jaguars were set to play against the Cherokee Trail Cougars in the first round.

The team went up against the Cougars and won 23-20 W, advancing them to the second round of playoffs against the sixth seat Columbine Rebels.

The Jaguars ended their season with a 8-4 win/loss score.
