According to Keep America Beautiful, the majority of the trash found on both roads and waterways consists of fast food wrappers and packaging, receipts and plastic beverage bottles. An overview of the donation drives students and school clubs are currently running.

Students bustle through the crowded hallways, trying to get to class or home, pass the library as they see colorful boxes on the floor catching their eyes. Those who stop find all the drives students are currently running. Some are to collect costumes of Halloweens past, others are collecting socks, food, and other items to those who cannot afford it.
