The Jaguar student section sits down while the girls basketball team plays in the Great Eight game at the Denver Coliseum against Valor Christian High School Feb. 29. Many students who participated in the boys basketball student section prior to the girls basketball game left before half-time. "I think it [the student section] plays a huge role because we actually had a decent crowd at a ranch game. I think that was the only time we had like a student section. And the energy was just awesome," varsity pointing and shooting guard Brooke Harding ‘25 said. "I don't expect much from them [the Golden Boys] at all. But the fact that they left at the Elite Eight game when they were already there is honestly mind blowing to me."

Looking for a player, varsity forward and captain Sienna Pillsbury '24 finds a teammate to pass the ball to Jan. 16. The team beat the Huskies 60-19. Their previous game ended in a 76-65 win against the Highlands Ranch Falcons Jan. 11, for the second time in the school's history. "We have so much tension between [Highlands Ranch] because of past coaches, past teammates and that they are a rival," varsity point and shooting guard Brooke Harding '24 said. "The energy was amazing and having a student section was awesome! I couldn’t fall asleep that night after we took that dub."

Varsity defender Clara Geuzaine ‘24 laughs with varsity forward Ava Todd ‘23 before the game against the Castle View Sabercats March 28. Before the start of the game, the team huddled up and hyped each other up as a pregame ritual. “I usually do a special handshake with Addie Vali before every game,” Geuzaine said. “The team also huddles up and then we count to three, and then we'll slam our left foot in the center, and then everyone has to keep it in and then we do team talking to each other to hype each other up.”
