The amount of students using the library has increased as finals approach. “Finals are kind of scary. I’m just going over my notes and watching old lectures and stuff so that I can get a better understanding of my classes before finals season,” Jensen said.

Jazzy Lorenz '23 prepares her camera to film a new episode for the C'mon Now podcast Oct 18. Lorenz was getting her set up ready for an episode named "Used Squared" on the topic of unloyal friends. "Setting up normally takes us about 15 minutes, but occasionally something will happen and we'll either have to wait for the camera to charge or we'll have to spend forever adjusting the lighting on the camera," Lorenz said.

Izzy Bartos ‘23 closes up Starbucks as she heads home after a 5-hour shift Nov. 12. It was a cold and busy night as baristas were overwhelmed with new holiday orders, cranky customers, and technical difficulties behind the counter. “My shift was extremely tiring, seeing as it's the beginning of our holiday season and customers are going crazy over holiday drinks. We ran out of three types of milks today so it was definitely a disaster,” Bartos said.

Face takes breaks in between assignments to avoid getting tired and falling asleep in class. "[I] never [fall asleep in class] but [I do get burnout] quite often, especially on Mondays, because Monday is the start of a long week." Face said.

Burning Through Burnout

Ceramics teacher Zoe Tessier carves designs onto her sea rock so that she can show it as an example to Ceramics l students. The ceramics class was learning how to sculpt clay and carve designs to make it look like a rock that is found in the sea. “This is one of my favorite projects, not only because it is the first project but it also shows how creative these students are,” Tessier said.
