Quinn Barton

Quinn Barton, Chief Operations Editor

Hi, my name is Quinn Barton, and this is my third year on staff, but my second on the editorial board. Last year, I was the photography editor; this year, I’m a chief operations editor, but I will specialize in photography and running the Instagram @rcrockmedia. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, working and hiking. I’m also getting into senior portrait photography! Make sure to follow @quinnbartonphotography to check out what I’m up to! This year, I’m stoked to write sports stories, teach others about social media and learn more about profiles and stories with controversy. This year, I’m super focused on improving my story writing skills!

"[Freshmen are] expecting to come in with everyone supporting them and us booing them makes them upset and sad," Daksha Gopalakrishnan ‘25 said. "I think it has a negative effect on them, they won’t be able to feel welcome or anything like that."
