Hi, my name is Elly Brooks, and I am the 24-24 Co-Editor-In-Cheif. This year will be my third year on staff, and I am so excited about everything to come this year. I love to read and hang out with my friends and family during my free time. During the summers and vacations, I love scuba dive and snowboarding with my friends and family. I look forward to producing a fantastic publication and stories representing Rock Canyon and the students here. I am so excited to produce stories as well as photos!

Outside the 4000s pod, a black paper banner painted with the words “Route RC 23 Homecoming” represents the overall theme for this year's Homecoming Sept. 22. The other pods were decorated with specific locations from the road trip theme. “My favorite design this year is the banner. It is so innovative and [Student Council] really applied their artistic abilities in showcasing the road trips theme,” Veronica Baxter ‘25 said.

Student Council Student Body President Abigail Williams ‘24 and Student Body Vice President Cale Maguire ‘24 talk about the upcoming year and the Back-to-School Dance Aug. 18. The dance was held in the gym Aug. 18 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The theme was "Barbie," with students encouraged to dress up in pink or dress as Barbie and Ken characters. "Through these past four years of high school, one thing I always take away from school assemblies is the feeling you have after walking out of the gym. Every assembly we try to make better than the previous one," Williams said. "Whether that be adding more music, incorporating more sports/clubs, or even members from the audience. Just know that at every assembly, the energy is gonna keep getting bigger and better."
