Ally Kelley, Multimedia Editor
Hello, I’m Ally Kelley. This is my third year on staff and I’m a junior. Last year I was the Graphics Editor, and this year I am the Multimedia Editor. I love drawing, animating, taking photos and writing. I play percussion in the Symphonic Band, am a member of the Color Guard in marching band and am a member of the Winterguard. I’m looking forward to finding more small stories and amplifying voices that people don’t normally hear. I also cannot wait to both improve my multimedia skills and bring more multimedia to the website.
![On Oct. 30, 24 Eco Club members took a tour of the school’s solar panels on the roof. ![Ice and snow make it difficult for drivers on the road. During snowstorms, drivers have poor visibility, and frozen roads make it difficult to stay in control. “Driving home from Denver [on Friday], the neighborhoods weren’t plowed. By the time we got back they were only plowing highways. ![Student Press Freedom Day takes place today, Feb. 22. The day celebrates the student journalists, whose rights are the same as professionals. This means that students can write about controversial topics and the administration cannot legally get involved in Colorado public schools. “[I think students should have equal rights] in principle, I think obviously, being that we’re a school, there's probably some things. I can see certain parent groups having a problem and that doesn't necessarily mean that you shouldn't write about them, but maybe [have] some kind of stakeholder.
